The Fun Theory

Credit cards make life so much more easier that you do not have to carry stacks of moneys any more. Every time when you buy something the only thing you use is just a piece of card. But sometimes it also makes consumption unreasonable. People lost the sense of physical money. I created some new concepts of credit cards to remind people that digital money also has the similar physical attribute as the old money. They are not just numbers. You can feel it so that you can try to control your consumption.

Tackles two important issues of modern society, environment and sedentarism. Imagine a park with loads of gymnastic bikes put to common usage, would be nice right ?It gets better though, all the bikes are connected to a electric generator, which supplies the park energy usage, so by exercising you are helping to save some electricity!=D Submitted Bruno Galli Miranda.

The idea is to teach compassion in a fun and interactive way. This is a video game that has three choices of play: (1)Three ethics questions, (2) Choosing the ending of a video scenario or (3) Viewer watches a short video depicting life as the member of a selected group (Autism, other disability, homeless, other culture). Machine would be banked with MANY scenarios and information – as so not to become predictable. Original purpose: autism awareness, but can be used for various other reasons.

In many cities, people that live in apartment buildings don’t really know their own neighbors. Talking Buildings is an activity created to help transform urban apartment buildings into living communities, filled with support and love. The activity is quite simple, consisting of a set of challenges to be placed daily in the building’s mailboxes, throughout a given week. These challenges are handed out by someone who lives in the building and wants to be a change agent.

Air-drying on a clothesline or rack instead of machine is an easy way to cut energy usage and also save money. With "Who Wants to be a Laundry-naire?" you can turn a chore into a game show! Watch the "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" style gameshow on the clip-on screen, and buzz in your answers by pressing the letter keys beside each clothes line (can play with a partner...good incentive to turn laundry into a social event with other family members).

There will be 2 small sensors in the recycling bin that will detect rubbish or Movement and once triggered it will activate the speaker which will then say “Thanks.” but then will say an interesting fact like “ You have just saved the average person 10% of work of making a coke can or crisp packet or something the same and that will go far to be used by someone else or you never know it could end up that you drinking out of the same can you have used before”.

People often leave their offices at the end of the day and forget the lights on. This is bad for the company and for the environment. Think about it: if a person works from 8am to 6pm, the lights should be on for only 10 hours, but if they forget to turn it off, it's on for 24 hours, more than twice the necessary. So, can we solve that problem by making turning off the lights fun? My idea is to have a "polite light" that thanks the person every time he/she turns it off. We could use different voices and different languages to say thank you, found in movies or music.

This is for the checkouts in supermarkets. The dividers on the transport belt are put in a gully by the cassier. This is at the end of the transport belt, but the dividers tradionally are needed at the beginning. By giving the dividers a sound of people enjoying a ride (little child on bicycle, people in rollercoaster) people will be stimulated to slide the divider to the beginning of the transport belt. Additionally there can be a disappointed noise when the divider is taken out of the gully and a very scared sound when it slides the wrong way.

People usually prefer to take the bus even for short distances even though one could easily walk instead. Therefor many people miss out on everyday exercise.

If you would create a bus that looks like every other bus but with peddles underneath every seat you would both get your everyday exercise and reduce the pollution of our environment.
