Outside living room
2021-12-15 20:20 - 0 CommentsDo you like watching TV?
Why do we have to find new ways to have fun if we can take old "ways" and change it? Nowadays watching a lot of TV is a habit of most of the population.
We want to bring people together again and get them outside to have fun by watching the "real world".
Putting large couches and empty TV boxes in puplic places encourages people to sit down and arouse interest in their surroundings again. Submitted by Simon Scherer.

Sea Creatures Live Show
2021-12-16 19:15 - 0 CommentsHow can you get people to turn of the lights? On our school, the light are sometimes on all night which waste alot of energy. Everyone knows that you should, but no one does. So, how do you get your classmates to prefer the light off instead of on. If the rooms transforms into other worlds; the future, deepsea, jurasic period, space or wonderland, perhaps people will choose lights off. To get a clue what will happen when you hit the switch, theres a ticket in a bag next to it for the experience in question.

Solution to a Dirty Problem
2021-12-16 09:35 - 0 CommentsICK, germs! They can make you sick. Very sick! Germs (viruses and bacteria in this case) cause respiratory and stomach ailments ranging from drippy noses and mild sore throats to life threatening illnesses such as diarrhea, flu and pneumonia. We spread germs quickly, mostly by touching our nose, eyes, mouth and other people. If people would thoroughly wash their hands for twenty seconds every time they use a public restroom, the number of those illnesses could be greatly reduced. Who says?

Machines to recycle
2021-12-16 13:53 - 0 CommentsThe problem is that people don’t take time to recycle. The solution will be that we found a way to recycle and at the same time have fun. If you want to have fun and at the same time recycle plastic, cans, paper, glass, carton and used batteries you can go to the Machines to Recycle. Instead of using coins and wasting your money you can bring recycle things and you will play with machines. Each machine has different things, for example one will be of cans, you will give cans and then you can play.

Joke Bag
2021-12-15 21:53 - 0 CommentsMany drivers throw garbage in the streets. The “Joke Bag” can solve this problem. It’s a waste bin with a sensor that turns on every time a waste is inserted. Once turned on, a joke or a curiosity is told. It turns throwing garbage in the litter a fun behavior.

The Smile Machine
2021-12-16 09:59 - 0 CommentsKeeping a happy outlook towards each other is hard in these stressful times. We propose to create a magic mirror to reflect and enhance people’s daily expressions. Our invention is a digital camera with smile detection software, linked to a projector behind a mirror. The display will show the visitor walking by, just like any mirror. But if the visitor stops and looks, a red smile line will be drawn on his or her image, reminding them that it’s up to everyone to inspire each other with fun and good cheer! Battery Beast
2021-12-16 09:15 - 0 CommentsApproximately 35 billion batteries are used throughout the world each year and despite efforts to encourage consumers to recycle rechargeable batteries, about 179,000 tons of battery waste ends up in US landfills alone. Because batteries in municipal landfills and trash incinerators can disperse significant amounts of heavy metals and other toxic substances into the air and water, battery waste prevention and recycling strategies are essential. Welcome the Battery Beast a friendly, battery-eating monster who makes safe battery disposal and recycling FUN.
Daphne the Waste Paper Bin
2021-12-15 20:15 - 0 CommentsDaphne, the funny Waste Paper Bin will help us! When we think about recycling, waste paper recycling is perhaps one of the first areas that springs to mind as many of us have been doing this for many years. Waste paper recycling covers a wide variety of different types of paper. We can recycle newspapers, magazines, junk mail, office paper, holiday brochures, catalogues and white directories (e.g. phone books).

Stub Painting
2021-11-19 13:40 - 0 CommentsProblem tackled: Reducing the cigarette litter in front of public places.
Solution: Make it fun to stub out a cigarette in an ashtray. On the tray is mounted a video screen equiped with some kind of heat sensing. The cigarette butt is used on the screen as a paint brush. The color of the "trait" depends on the heat sensed. The color degrades in time creating a dynamic painting that evolves continuously.

Fun fruit
2021-11-07 21:21 - 0 CommentsCan you get humans to eat healthier food through fun?
It’s always more fun to open colorful packages with loud writing, cool logos and slogans. How can a piece of fruit in the super market ever compete with a candy bar? It can’t! SO….
Imagine lush and colorful shrink-wrappers over bananas, apples and mandarin oranges. Put them right next to the candies, which in the USA are typically in the checkout line to entice last minute impulse buys by children. Guilt and fun I believe will
Calories to Watts
2021-12-15 17:08 - 0 CommentsThe people exercise to burn calories and become more fit. Various exercise machines are used, such as bikes and elliptical equipment. Weights, wheels, springs, magnets etc. are used to create resistance. Burning calories is not always fun and it is energy wasted in vain. However, if we use electrical generator to create the resistance in the exercise equipment, than our exercise can be used to produce electrical energy. Imagine a gym full of rotational and elliptical equipment and the electricity that can be produced when the gym is full.
Street Dancer Semaphore
2021-12-15 20:21 - 0 CommentsThe pedestrians do not respect the red light of the semaphore in the corners. Nobody pays attention to the little man who indicates us to stop and wait. Maybe he should do something more than simply be standing there. Can we give to people an entertaining way of waiting before crossing in a right form? Yes! With the red dancer man nobody will want to miss the show. A led display shows his movements, accompanied with the rhythm of a cheerful music that comes out from small incorporated speakers.

Road Roller Iron
2021-12-15 20:25 - 0 CommentsIroning clothes can be a boring task and getting the creases removed from your clothes perfectly is next to impossible. Now all you need to do is place your shirt on a customized iron board with sensors. You need to define the task. What is to be ironed? Shirt, trouser etc. The board defines your play area with lights depending on your selection. Creases are highlighted. Place the mini road roller iron on the shirt, sit back and let the fun begin. With a remote control you need to guide the road roller around the highlighted creases. If you move out of your play area, you lose points.
Bubble Board
2021-11-23 16:10 - 0 CommentsPlaying in the public is often limited to the kids in a family outing to the shopping centres. Parents have little chance to participate in the games that their children are involved in. We ask: How can we create better parent -child interactions in play? The answer proposed: The Bubble Board. Taking advantage of the height of a parent, he or she can create trails of bubbles on an interactive wall as the parent walks or moves pass it.As the parent creates bubbles, the children get to play with these bubbles on the wall, bursting or moulding them by hand.

Song Dryer
2022-10-27 16:01 - 0 CommentsIn bathrooms, many people don't like using the hot hand dryers vs. the alternative paper towel. There has to be a way to make those more fun. Perhaps instead of just hearing air blow out of the thing, maybe music instead, and not just the same song over and over. Use different songs that many people will like. They might actually use the dryer longer so they can finish the song, thus drying their hands effectively.

Sustainable Robotic iLand
2021-12-15 20:08 - 0 CommentsCurrently most sustainabile responses are focused on land where we can monitor the proposed changes, while the water which covers 70% of our Earth’s surface tends to be neglected. Since the phytoplankton growing within the oceans provides 50% of Earth’s photosynthesis, ocean vitality is paramount for all life. Already we have lost 30% and 14% of phytoplankton in the North Pacific and North Atlantic Oceans respectively since the 80s. Specifically, we must counteract the damaging effects of excess carbon dioxide and acidification from our polluting habits.

Fortune Parking
2021-11-02 16:17 - 0 CommentsPurpose: To get people to use far away parking spots and get more exercise.
Idea: Posts signs that are solar digital at the farther parking spots. When a person parks there, they receive a "fortune" for the day. Kind of like a fortune cookie. Fun and easy!
