Purifying Waterflute

Can a sanitizing water instrument save lives? Two million children die each year in developing countries from drinking unsafe water.* Despite numerous cheap and effective treatment technologies,* water continues to be consumed untreated. Studies* show that many poor people are skeptical of the link between water quality and the deaths of their children. Thus, the problem of providing safe water to children is not one of technology, but of a lack of incentive,* or a lack of fun! What if we could make it fun to sanitize drinking water? We believe a sanitizing water instrument is a fun (and cheap) solution to a serious problem. See our demonstration! *: References available in slideshow. Submitted by Chris Wilmer
