Stop-Show: The Stop Sign Light Show

Too many of us don't come to a complete stop at stop-signed intersections. You do it. I do it. But what if there was some visual feedback to encourage people to come to a complete stop? I propose 'Stop-Show', a system which used electronics to detect a full stop and then rewards the driver with a fun light show on the stop sign. The 'light show' would serve two key purposes... (1) Indicating / confirming that a full stop has been achieved, and (2) providing the driver with a little bit of entertainment, encouraging them to be a little more consistent with their safe-driving practices. The light show could be made using LED lights installed in special signs, and could even be programmed for different effects in order to keep drivers from 'tuning-out' the visual display over time. This would keep the system 'fresh' for users. Submitted by Jason Rubero.
