The Fun Theory

As a method of deterring jaywalking (crossing the street out of the crosswalk), make the crosswalk like a piano (similar to the staircase already done). To make it so people don't stay in the crosswalk, make it stop working when the light changes to "DON'T WALK" and start working again for the next cycle. This should make people want to cross the street in the right place at the right time. Hopefully people can continue to cross streets safely to decrease the number of people that get hit by cars.
