The Paper Maker Machine

2021-12-15 18:27 - 0 Comments

As you may already know, in some countries people don’t see an immediate benefit from recycling. Here I present to you the new Paper-Maker Machine that will allow people to recycle paper and obtain a recycled paper notepad in exchange! Feel the magic and let your children believe! The machine is made to look like it fabricates the notepad just right there. How it works? The machine has a weight scale that allow you to learn how paper much you are recycling. Depending on the weight range, the mechanism activates and gives you in exchange one model of notepad.

Kitty-Cat Toilet Brush

2021-12-15 18:27 - 0 Comments

In public places or company buildings the toilet brush to clean the lavatory pan is a rarely used device. Of course it is! Because it is everything else but fun to use the tb. My idea is to make it more fun to use the brush by making it respond to use.
The physical feedback of the brush should produce positive emotions and be
fun to a certain extent. So I decided to make the brush purr like a cat when used. A purring brush is unexpected
and quite funny on one hand, on the other hand cat purring is a charming and lovely

Little things can make a big difference. So when a group of people join to spare our planet's resources, even if for a brief moment, that makes a huge difference. We spend too much of our planet's energy and so little of ours, that doesn't seem fair. So mix sedentarism and energy consuming, add a bit of fun to it, and we bake a fresh new idea. Just out of the oven: Cine Eco. This ecological wave claims for new ecological ideas. Movies have become one of peoples favorite pastime.

MueveTV

Fight children obesity by motivating the children to exercise and save energy. When the children watch TV they do no exercise at all plus the added calories from the junk food they are eating. The TV plugs in to a motion sensor, if the children is moving the TV stays on, when the children stops moving the TV goes off. This way the children exercises and makes it very hard to eat junk food, also they save energy because the TV turns off when no one is in the room.

To improve the knowledge of general culture the idea is to create a quiz at the bus stop. If you answer all the 5 questions correctly, you'll get a free bus ticket.

Disco Boxing

Disco Boxing is an interactive boxing game designed for people to explore healthy ways of relieving stress, exercising and having fun. The harder and faster you hit the punching bags, the more lights you are able to light up, similar to a carnival "strong man" game. The video is a clip of a working prototype we built this summer.

Combined Individual Transport

2021-12-15 18:03 - 0 Comments

Cities are congested with traffic. The pollution from traffic is high. Parking is scarce and very expensive. What I promote is combined individual transport. People would still use regular cars for longer distances, like from suburbs to near the center. For shorter distances, in parts of towns with dense traffic, or within the center, people would use bikes or tricycles (pedaled or geared by electric motors), which would be foldable, and therefore it would be possible to keep them in the trunk of the car.

Chewing Gum Sculpture

2021-12-15 18:00 - 0 Comments

Each Spaniard consumes 3 kilos of chewing gum every year. The cost of removing each one of these rises up to 0.68 cents, more than twice its purchase cost. That’s why we propose a funny campaign to prevent people from littering chewing gum. Goal: To prevent people from littering chewing gum and put it in a common place instead, so that the streets of the city remain clean. How? The idea is to create huge, collective sculptures with people’s chewing gum.

Remember the little flipbooks you had when you were a kid? The kind you could flip through quickly and see a little movie, This might be the simplest way of animating a picture but a filmreel doesn't act all that different. Think of all the boring hours you have spent looking out of the window into nothingness while commuting on the Metro train or underground. Now, I am a big fan of grafitti and street art, but it doesn't really serve its purpose in 60 km/h when everything turns into a blur. What if we could use the speed of the train to emulate a lens travelling down a filmreel?

Let Children Grow Up Recyling!

2021-12-15 17:50 - 0 Comments

Children interact with each other, by inventing various games. The most common behavior of children is to climb and get on high places. Psychologists explain this behavior, by children’s’ attempt to see the world from “above”. Children are also very curious and are not afraid from heights. By proposing this installation, we believe to get children involved into the practice of recycling. Such interactive bins can make children aware of their possibilities to throw rubbish in various ways.

Let High School Children Grow Up Recycling!

2021-12-15 17:50 - 0 Comments

Methods (refer to the picture):
- by setting up a recycling “corner” in high schools where huge recycling bins would be located for all recyclable materials

- Electronic touch screen “Social Wall” will be installed in the same area where students of this particular high school can leave comments, messages, news, and information about events, people and social groups on the particular campus. Only students of this particular school will have access to this wall which they may use in ways analogous to forums and social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook. At the same time they will be in the recycling area, which would remind them to recycle their items. Also once they are there already it’s easier to recycle the items instead of throwing them into regular trash bins. This habitual behavior will enforce students’ propensity to recycle once they are out of high school as well.

Car eco-driving game

It is proven that a driver's mood can influence car fuel consumption by over 20%. So what if we could turn driving into an eco-driving game, making it fun? The idea is to read the instant fuel consumption from the on-board computer with a small processing unit, or in older models, read the accelerator pedal position with a simple and cheap infrared position sensor. A small and discrete LCD/LED screen would be placed on the dashboard where a toy face would appear.

Trampoline Generator

I think it'll be great to make donating fun and easy by putting up special trampolines in parks that are connected to electronic scoreboards. When people jump on the piezoelectric trampoline it generates energy which goes towards building up energy credits for a particular charity cause. People can select the cause they want to support on a digital booth before they start jumping. The energy is collected in a battery or goes directly to the energy company via power lines.

The problem: public water fountains are used less because many people buy bottled water under the impression that it is better, when in fact bottled water often comes from the same source as tap water. The difference is, bottled water has lower safety standards, is harmful to the environment, and costs up to 1,900 more per liter. What if drinking from water fountains was fun and educational?

"Sit up straight!" Everybody knows those nagging words, and how annoying it can be to be constantly reminded about your posture. But good posture is important for presenting a positive outward appearance and for strengthening back muscles towards better health. So how can we make sitting up straight more FUN? With our Peacocks for Posture proposal, sensors are embedded in the back of a chair to detect the sitter's posture. Peacock feathers are mounted to a motorized system on the back of the chair. If the sitter is slouching, the peacock feathers remain folded up.

Our modern live is full of mobile electric devices. But all those devices needs electricity. Too much energy, at a time where we have global ecologic problems. Based on the concept of zero-emission multimedia, it was created a static device, where you can produce and get your own green energy - Instantly Spinning his wheel you produce the energy. The touchscreen, which is positioned at the head is an interactive panel to communicate with Buddy. Through this he gives you the instructions for use, It shows you the quantity of produced energy, and for what you can use it.

Dj Mat

2021-12-15 17:27 - 0 Comments

Tracking in dirt, mud and water into public areas is potentially hazardous. However, wiping one's feet can diminish this problem. To encourage this simple act we have designed "DJ" This is a doormat that looks and feels just like any other boring doormat, yet it's fun and interactive for all! So, how could a doormat possibly be fun? It's simple: make that mat a mix board! When one rubs their feet on DJ (causing friction) it will "scratch" the music playing in the building just like a DJ would do in a club!
