Magnet Driven Car
2021-12-16 09:00 - 0 CommentsThink of the future, think of magnet driven cars. These cars use no petrol/gas whatsoever. They use a - and a + charge of a kind. Paving the roads with a magnetically force (aka magnets or magnetic liquid), they will have a - charge on the car. The car will have the same looks, but it has its wheels replaced by huge magnet blocks, like a box. On the car it will have - charge while the road will have a + charge, the car can be driven in the same way but in a hovering motion. Now the moving mechanism is a simple task.
Battery Maze
2021-12-16 09:00 - 0 CommentsThis is a special box for collecting used batteries. You can put one normal battery of any kind into the "start" hole, then the game begins. When you roll the handle, the maze plate revolves. You just need to find the the right way to exit for your battery as soon as possible. A record of the least time will be shown on the top. Through this amazing Battery Maze, people would like to collect used batteries spontaneously. Submitted by Golden Guo

The exercise bus
2021-12-16 08:57 - 0 CommentsThe concept is to reduce carbon footprint whilst promoting exercise (through financial benefit).
Using available and utilised technology people can access public transport using smart card payment system (i.e. oyster cards in London).

Windcar
2021-12-16 08:51 - 0 CommentsIt's simple, you add a windmill to the top of the car. Which is connected to the motor and to the battery. All you have to do is is start up the car like normal with fuel, then once you get going, the windmill spins and provides energy for the motor. The battery of the car can charge up and last the car for 10-20 minutes without the windmill spinning, so you can keep power at stoplights etc. The windmill car isn't about not using fuel for cars. It's about using less fuel (only for start-up and back-up energy).

The Inverted Recycle Bin
2021-12-16 08:44 - 0 CommentsPeople nowadays tend to be impressed or attracted by something new or unique. The refuse bin was design in an upside down way to attract the crowd (What is your first reaction or impression when you see an inverted refuse bin hanging on the wall?) Throwing aluminum cans can be fun, the upside down way, where your cans will be suck upwards (a fun interaction between human and refuse bin). Funny sentences and phrases displayed on LCD screens after each throwing action, using several weird quotes create some unexpected fun while throwing your cans (i.e.
Bowling Park
2021-12-15 23:50 - 0 CommentsProblem:
Parking is a big problem for people especially in public spheres. Even it doesn’t seem as a big problem, it is really a big problem for drivers who can not find a parking area especially in big and crowded cities because of the other drivers who do not park in a regular way to the areas that are lined before. We tried to show this problem with some photos. As you see, in these photos, cars are not in a regular way and one car parks in a place where two car can park.

Modern Times for Batteries
2021-12-15 23:42 - 0 CommentsMost batteries become highly hazardous at the end of their useful life.
Therefore it is necessary to collect them for appropriate disposal or recycling.
The idea is to make an eye-catching mechanism (similar to the one in Charlie Chaplins movie ‘Modern Times’) that is activated through batteries. Every inserted battery makes the mechanism turn for several seconds. The more batteries are inserted, the longer the machine is working. Submitted by Bernhard Neuwirth and Alina Avscharova
Crosswalk in memory of the King
2021-12-15 23:38 - 0 CommentsCrosswalks are everywhere where we need them, but paradoxically people prefer to cross the street on other places, even when the crosswalk is only few meters away. This causes accidents.
In the videoclip from Michael Jacksons „Billie Jean“, he walks on a path and everything he touches lights up. I always found that fascinating, specially the lights on the floor.
Over the Weather
2021-12-15 23:31 - 0 CommentsOver the weather. How to make bad weather fun? Location : Copenhagen, but the project is adaptable to other cities Description: Weather changes. And we can feel this change, as the temperature drops, the rain starts to drip, the winds starts howling. We notice the change, and it affects our lives in many ways. In Copenhagen, everyone is worried about the weather and everybody talks about it. It’s a recurrent subject, more than in other cities, because here, the weather is changing so often. Due of the proximity of the sea, there is a lot of wind, especially when the seasons are changing.
Fireworks Ashtray
2021-12-15 23:29 - 0 CommentsMost of the people who smoke don't really take care where they throw their cigarette buds. Although there are enough public ashtrays and especially downtown and in pedestrian zones, people still throw their buds on the street. Our idea is to get their attention with lights and sound, by installing a heat sensor on the ashtray plate and connecting it to LED lights formed in the shape of fireworks, and a small speaker. As the cigarette touches the ashtray, the heat sensor will send trigger the lights, and the sound.

The Red Light Player
2021-12-15 23:19 - 0 CommentsWaiting for the red man to change on the traffic light, while necessary for maintaining your life, is a bummer. Our aim was making the wait pleasurable. We did it by posting Adam Ben Ezra in one side of a heavily traveled zebra crossing. Our guy plays when the light is red, and rests when it turns green. For our special operation we made double bass covers for famous songs containing words like "stop", "stand", etc.

Parking meter - Mr and Mrs Depressed
2021-12-15 23:17 - 0 CommentsEvery object in our surrounding have an emotional connection to us (both good and bad feeling), especially the objects that are commonly seen on the street that people interact with everyday. People hate parking meters, which cause them to lose money. Since, I believe everyone should enjoy their lives, despite the bad things. Therefore, I choose to re-design the physical aspect of the parking meter so that people would have fun when using them. As a result, the parking meter is re-designed with the same function but offer a different value to the user.

Energy Floor
2021-12-15 23:16 - 0 CommentsPeople usually don’t have the motivation to produce energy through itself. Therefore we can use senseless waiting time to produce electricity through the vibration on the interactive energy floor. Below grade, the produced energy is saved and transformed. So, for example, the won energy could be used for the street lighting. Submitted by Maria Siebert.
Dj Doormat
2021-12-15 23:14 - 0 CommentsCleaning the shoes at the doormat is good way to leave the dirt outside and also to save a lot of water, cleaning supplies and manpower inside a building.
The doormat can be used for normal house entrances (also as a substitute for the doorbell, meaning the sound can be heard inside as well) or even for big entrances of offices or public buildings (here the composition may be recorded and the next visitor may listen to it before making a new one).
