Hockey Net Recycling

2021-12-16 20:45 - 0 Comments

People are not recycling their cans and bottles.
I think a fun way to recycle would change everybodys attitude by making a hockey recycling net. Its basically a hockey net loacated at a Recycle Depot. You have to shoot your cans and bottles in the net and you get points. Its fun and your helping the evironment!

The Fun Reversible Vending Machine

2021-12-16 20:44 - 0 Comments

1. This Fun Reversible Vending Machine looks like a regular RVM but with a computer screen and keyboards.

2. It operates like a game / social networking site, where users gets money in return for putting in recycled products and for correctly answering questions.

3. The questions are based on data from previous users, who when “playing” must; 1. put in a recycled product, 2. provide answer to a very basic fun facts question about oneself (like favorite color), and 3. correctly answer the fun fact question of the previous user.

Scooter Shoping

2021-12-16 20:37 - 0 Comments

Nowadays you have many shopping carts in the middle of the parking lots just because people have this lasy behavior of leaving the cart where it is. But you can solve the problem just putting together the scooter system with the shopping cart, using the cart wheels and giving some fun to those persons who were buying in the supermarket. These way, whenever they finish shopping, they will bring the cart back because it´s cool

The problem is that people are always going up the escalator and not the stairs. How can we make them change? We can make the Billy Jean stair case. The Billy Jean stair case is a set of stairs that lights up around your foot when you step on it. The Billy Jean stair case should make people stop useing the escalator because it is fun to do.

A Chair Lift will be used for school, and will have the name of the place your going to on it! They even go at a safe speed! If it is pouring rain or snowing just pull down the cover! You also get a great view, a nice breeze [ in summer] and back-pack hatches! What a fun convenient way to get to school! Submitted by McLean Masuch

The Kwik-E-Green Project

2021-12-16 20:31 - 0 Comments

How can we reward people who stay for the green light and also get them to interact in the mean time?
In a busy crosswalk we often tend to be impatient for the cross light to turn green. But crossing a red pedestrian light can be dangerous.

Our solution: The Kwik-e-Green!

The Kwik-e-Green is a square made out of six pairs of green feet shaped panels with sensors underneath, placed at the side of the curb. When six people stand on the panels the sensors react on the weight pressure of the people and instantly rewards them with a Kwik-e-Green light for them to pass the crosswalk

Tire-Swing Bus Stop

Waiting for the bus can be very stressful. First: the bus is never on time. Second: some bus stops don't have any place to sit down and wait. Thinking about that and a way to make it more fun, we came up with the idea of a "Tire-Swing Bus Stop".

Can you give me a hand?

As we walk down the streets, we walk straight, eyes forward only focusing on our destination. We wear headphones to isolate ourselves since we can't be bothered to spare a few moments to chat with each other. Can we use fun to pop these bubbles of isolation we have formed around ourselves? Yes, yes we can. Submitted by Justin Sy

High Fives for Hygiene

2021-12-16 20:21 - 0 Comments

Problem: Germy hands spread disease.
Solution: A robot dispenses high fives and hand sanitizing goo.
As you approach the robot, he senses your presence and calls out to you in a synthesized voice.
"GIVE ME FIVE, DUDE."
"DON'T LEAVE ME HANGIN', BRO."
His hand contains a multitude of pore-like orifices that ooze hand sanitizer. Slap him five, and your hand is covered in goo. And since the slime on the robot's hand is alcohol-rich, even if it gets tainted with dirt and ice cream, it's still sanitary!

Problem
The use of the bicycle as a daily transport system is not a new idea. Everybody knows the health and environmental benefits of riding a bicycle. But several constrains, such as weather uncertainty, urban street morphology, traffic hazards, and even laziness, all have a significant impact in the – limited – use of the bicycle in urban areas.

Free fitness center

The primary concern of any government is to keep its citizens healthy. Apart from securing good hospitals and access to healthy food, it also must secure availability of sporting places for people to keep fit. The problem is that prices for fitness centers are rising substantially as more and more people attend them. We want to change this relationship to the contrary and, plus, generate energy.

Installing boxing (kick boxing too), cycling, pulling and rowing machines that can tap on to the energy produced by the aforementioned exercises in the park. The participants should be shown the amount of green life they have saved during their workout session and a set of good health tips can also be displayed to create health awareness among the participants.

A more fun way to recycle your newspaper!

Many people around the world appreciate to read free newspapers when they travel with the subway. The problem is that too many people don’t recycle their newspaper when they’ve read it. This is damaging the environment and costs lots of money to clean – Money that raises ticket prices.
Can we get people to change their behaviour by making it more fun to recycle their newspapers?

Mimes for Better Traffic

2021-12-16 20:11 - 0 Comments

Many drivers and pedestrians don’t respect simple traffic laws because they consider that they aren’t misbehaving since they aren't breaking important safety laws like crossing with red lights or surpassing the speed maximum. Showing people through humour the small infractions to the law they make can make them realice the important of their mistakes and help them become better citizens. The most common small infractions are: stopping their car over a pedestrian crossing, talking over the cellphone while driving or crossing the street walking through the forbidden places.
