Pedestrian bridge

The project arose from a problematic situation, pedestrians in the streets of Mexico: the unconsciousness of people to cross the street by any places instead of using the pedestrian bridges.

Our project consists of some screens located in the outer part of the pedestrian bridge handrails. These screens have movement sensors that detect when a person passes through and then projects half the anatomy of another person or animal, making the pedestrians look funny and different. When no one crosses the bridge, the screens will transmit advertising announcements in their place. This way we try to catch the pedestrian’s attention, persuade them and make them think about crossing through the bridge instead of crossing through the street.
