"Good Deed" Currency

2009-12-15 23:09 - 0 Comments

In today’s world services are measured in terms of money (currency)
But what about ‘good deeds’ done by people with no expectation of any monetary benefit but at some time the deed has value attached to it.You don’t expect money when you go out of your way to help an old man cross the road.
We will introduce a new global currency “Good deed” Currency. It will be printed solely by the sponsor company in the denominations of 5,10,20,50,100,500 & 1000.
They will be introduced among the public for distribution and circulation initially through NGO’s, charities, old age homes etc.
The promotion & advertising for publicizing the use of this currency will be handled by the sponsor company.
Whenever a person does a good deed to another, the later repays with the “good deed” currency according to the importance of deed to him at that point of time.
So on, the currency keeps circulated.
The sponsor will ensure currency inflow and also promotion of the currency.
No monetary transactions involved the currency is just to measure and repay kindness.
A person’s goodness maybe measured in terms of this “good deed” currency
In future maybe a country’s GDP can be measured in the “good deed” currency.
