Falling Tower of Pisa
2021-12-07 11:24 - 0 CommentsEvery year millions of batteries get thrown into the garbage. It creates tons of garbage and the heavy metals contaminate the ground water. Batteries can easily be recycled, but not everyone does that. The solution is to make it fun to return batteries by using the children’s game ‘Tower of Pisa’. The goal of the game. The player has to add as many batteries to the different levels of the tower. Since the bottom of the tower has a slightly rounded form, the tower has a tendency to tip over if it is not properly balance. Once the tower tips the batteries fall into the collection bin underneath. Children will want to do the game at the stores/ schools where the collection bins are placed. They get into the habit from an early age to return batteries for recycling. Submitted by Judy Bepple.
