The Fun Theory

Cycling is hard work especially up hill. Sound posts with PIR sensors could be placed along the side of the road to give audio rewards to cyclists as they struggle through the city streets. A selection of surprising, uplifting and thought provoking music and sounds could be projected at the cyclists as they travel through a mini soundscape making the whole process more fun and attractive. This would encourage more people to cycle instead of drive.
